Your plant has the equipment. Does it have the leadership?
Operations consulting for manufacturers whose results aren’t matching the investment.
Most underperforming plants don’t have a machine problem. They have a leadership, process and trust problem that shows up as missed targets, turnover and firefighting. I step in, run the operation, and build the managers who will run it after I leave.

Results stall for reasons that aren’t on the balance sheet.
A big change that isn’t paying off
New system, new layout, new structure. The money is spent, but the results haven’t followed.
Turnover and firefighting
Good people leave, the rest are worn out, and every day is spent on yesterday’s problems.
Everything runs through the owner
Decisions stall until you weigh in, so the business can only grow as fast as you can.
Supervisors promoted, never developed
Your best operators became managers overnight, without anyone teaching them how to lead.
Before a major investment
You want to know the operation can absorb new equipment, a new line or an acquisition before you commit.
Recognize one of these?
A 30-minute conversation is usually enough to tell whether I can help.
Book a discovery call →Four dimensions. Leadership drives the rest.
Every operation can be read across four dimensions. They don’t all need to be at the same level; your industry and goals decide where each should be. But when leadership slips, the other three follow it down.
Leadership
Direction, alignment, coaching and decision behaviour. Often the strongest predictor of where the other three end up.
People
Culture, capability, trust, psychological safety and the everyday habits that make continuous improvement possible.
Systems
Process, governance, metrics and cross-functional flow: how consistently work happens and value gets delivered.
Technology & Insight
Data, reporting, automation and analytics: how information becomes insight, and insight becomes action.
Start small. Go as deep as you need.

“One of his greatest strengths is the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. He built a high-performing team, fostered a culture of continuous improvement, and ensured consistent alignment between production, quality assurance, and customer delivery.”
“He approached the staff in a kind but firm way, developing clear standards of performance… His time at Semex resulted in positive change and his dedication to improvement was appreciated and valued.”
“There are people who fix problems and then there are people who build the conditions so the problems don’t come back. This person is firmly in the second category.”
An operator first. A consultant second.
I’ve spent more than 25 years running operations: Ford, a contract role at Tesla during the Model S ramp, six years building an ERP and transformation consulting practice across seven countries, and director-level operations roles at Zeiss and a PE-backed manufacturer. The pattern is almost always the same: the operation underperforms because of how it’s led, not because of the equipment.
So I don’t hand you a report and leave. I run the operation alongside your team, fix what’s holding it back, and build the managers who will keep it running after I’m gone.
